About the workshop
The story
Nostos is a small, specialist woodworking workshop in Limassol, Cyprus. We operate across two distinct disciplines: high-end bespoke kitchens and architectural joinery, and engineered concealment furniture with invisible, magnetic, and RFID-locking compartments.
Materials & process
We work primarily with solid European oak and American black walnut, sourced from managed forests. Finishes range from hand-rubbed natural oils to satin polyurethane and clear lacquer — selected for durability and the specific demands of each piece. Every project moves through design consultation, prototyping where needed, build, and installation.
- European oak — hardwearing, warm grain, ideal for kitchens and shelving
- American black walnut — rich colour, fine grain, our choice for executive and concealment pieces
- Select hardwoods — ash, cherry, and iroko for specific applications
